Allagash, Maine
History
Allagash was organized as a plantation on September 28, 1885, from the townships of T16 R10, T16 R11, T17 R10, and T17 R11.
On January 31, 1966, it officially incorporated as a town and now boasts the most land area of any minor civil division in Maine, covering 135.6 square miles.
Frontier Town:
First established in 1886 by a family that canoed up from Western Maine, Allagash is a frontier town surrounded by the North Maine Woods.
Today, Allagash remains a place of natural beauty and historical significance, nestled along the banks of the Allagash River in the heart of Maine’s wilderness.

Allagash RV is designed for you to enjoy the outdoors while bringing the comfort of your "own" traveling home with you!
Accessible by vehicle, snowmobile or ATV
There are two riverfront lots available with 30/50amp full hook up (water, sewer & electric). There are also two 30amp partial hook up sites (water and electric) located on the wooded edge of the property. All lots can utilize the outdoor shower and bathroom facilities, enjoy the hammock chair and access the river. Each lot has its own fire pit and picnic table. Bundled wood is available on site for purchase.
Because we are located in northern Maine, our Spring "open date" and Fall "close date" will be determined by the weather each year. Contact us for information and we will be happy to accommodate you.

This cabin has everything you need to live comfortably during your stay!
Accessible by vehicle, snowmobile or ATV
Fully equipped kitchen, including Keurig and drip coffee makers, hot water kettle (electric & stovetop), dishes, pots, pans & utensils. All linens, towels and cloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet tissue, paper towels, paper plates, napkins, and coffee filters are all provided. Washer/dryer and detergent available for use. Use of the wood stove is permitted upon request. Fire starters and kindling are supplied. Wood bundles are made available for purchase. This off-grid cabin is perfect for a remote, peaceful and relaxing experience!
Located on a private trail - accessible by snowmobile or ATV
(if traveling by vehicle a shuttle service is available for the 300' walk)
Being off grid is awesome! Gas lights, fully equipped kitchen, including sink, gas fridge, gas stove & oven, percolator coffee pot, hot water kettle, dishes, pots, pans & utensils. All linens, towels and cloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet tissue, paper towels, paper plates, napkins, and coffee filters are all provided. This cabin is heated by a wood stove. Wood, fire starters and kindling are supplied. We also provide a power bank for charging phones, etc. and water for cooking, drinking, hand & dish washing. A battery flush camp toilet is included in the cabin and an outhouse is available as well. During Spring/Summer/Fall you will be able to experience a hot water outdoor shower. A perfect winter adventure awaits you!
This lovely Arctic Oven will heat up your winter outdoor adventure and help you to experience nature at its best -- camping with fewer people and NO flies! The peace and quiet that winter offers are refreshing and reinvigorating. Just bring your ready-to-heat/cook meal and any personal items needed and you will be all set to get cozy and relax for the evening -- or two -- or more! We provide the cooking basics and paper goods. We also provide the sleeping cots, pads, bags, pillows and camp chairs. We provide the fire starters, kindling and wood. An outside firepit is all set up and ready for you to enjoy the bright, winter night sky while sitting by the fire to keep warm. An outhouse is a short distance. Our spacious, canvas tent, equipped with a large wood stove, will keep you roasty toasty warm and provide you with a slightly upscale camping experience in the woods. We have designed this tent to accommodate all season rentals so that you can breathe in the spring air, enjoy the summer breeze, smell the fall leaves, and, let's not forget, soak in the quiet of winter while listening to the wood stove snap and crackle.
